Are you a highly motivated, engaged student currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering? As a Computer Science/Software Engineering Intern, you will:

Responsibilities
A week in the life of a Computer Science/Software Engineering Intern:
- Serve as a member of an advanced technical team.
- Perform software and hardware development, integration, and testing for aircraft avionics systems.
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces
- Contribute to software specifications and designs for proposed solutions
- Works with the development team to understand new requirements to support mission objectives
Qualifications
- US citizenship required. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance after hiring.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science program in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- GPA > 3.0
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills
Preferred skills:
- Experience with C/C++is desired but not required
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $43,200.00/Yr. - USD $72,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
