Job Description

Interns are assigned to a specific development team ranging anywhere from 4-15 developers/engineers, be trained, and given “real” programming assignments. This is very challenging and rewarding work that offers practical experience in the short-term and outstanding long-term career opportunities.

The Business Intelligence Team operates as a shared service model developing and supporting ETL and ELT data pipelines, data marts and end user facing BI products.  As part of the BI Team you will work closely with teammates and collaborate with Software Development teams and BI product owners across numerous business areas.

  • Logistics - Develop analytics solutions that provide insight into customer orders, transportation tracking, and warehouse operations. Partnering with software teams and BI product owners, you model and visualize data to improve service levels, optimize freight costs, track inventory movement, and support efficient warehouse workflows.
  • Shared Services - Build and support enterprise BI solutions for Accounting, Human Resources, and Supply Chain Management. Working closely with development teams and product owners, you deliver governed data models, reporting, and dashboards that enable consistent, reliable insights across corporate functions.
  • Operations - Enable data-driven decision-making across commercial print operations by translating production data into actionable insights. In collaboration with software engineers and BI product owners, you develop analytics supporting job planning, imaging, press and finishing performance, scheduling, and raw material usage.
  • Sales & Marketing - Create BI solutions that support Direct Mail, Web Solutions, Commercial and Specialty Print, and Sales/Estimating. Partnering with application teams and product owners, you integrate transactional and customer data to deliver visibility into sales performance, pricing, order flow, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, development, unit testing and debugging Business Intelligence products across the enterprise platform (Python, VB, SQL, MS SQLSERVER, ORACLE, Tableau Server, Informatica Power Center, MS SSAS, MS SSRS, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) ) 
  • Actively contributing in a team setting to build, enhance, and support custom-developed ELT, ETL pipelines, data mart(s), data warehouse(s) and end user analytics and reporting products benefiting a wide array of manufacturing and administrative operations.

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing / Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Data Analytics, Data Science or a related field
  • Unrestricted Work Authorization in the US
  • Desired Skills/Experience
    • Strong problem-solving
    • Strong relational database experience.
    • Familiar with data integration software such as Alteryx, Informatica Power Center, Informatica IICS.
    • Dashboard software/concepts; such at Power-BI and Tableau.
    • A winning attitude
    • A passion for software development and data analytics
    • Ability to work onsite in our WI plants
