Position:   Life Coach III / Day Program DSP

Salary: $18.82 per hour

Schedule:   Monday thru Friday 8AM-4:30PM

  • Locations /Job Type:   Hamden Full-time 

Responsibilities:  Support people to live personally fulfilling lives and achieve their person centered valued outcomes through a positive and proactive approach. 

Other duties: 

  • Foster independence through role modeling, teaching, and supporting people to be valued and contributing members of their community
  • Talents are identified and connections are made in their community, based on interests and desires
  • Reports, log notes and documentation are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Managing and setting up reminders to keep track of deadlines for reports/paperwork
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Innovative problem solving skills
  • Entering/uploading data in Medisked
  • Provide support in other areas of the agency
  • Passion for helping others, and the ability to build relationships. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus one year experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and manage busy schedules/deadlines
  • Must pass a Criminal Background Investigation
  • Willingness to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR Certification
