Content & Social Media Intern

Coast is re-imagining the trillion-dollar U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure, with a focus on the country’s 500,000 commercial fleets, 40 million commercial vehicles, and many million commercial drivers. The incumbent technologies that cater to these customers are decades old, and drivers and fleets increasingly demand modern digital experiences and affordable and transparent financial services products. Coast's mission is to deliver them at a transformational scale, beginning with the Coast Fleet and Fuel Card built on a cutting-edge spend management platform

As a Content & Social Media Summer Intern, you will report into our Marketing Team and play a key-role in the ground-level build of Coast's newest acquisition channels. You will be embedded in one of the most ambitious content campaigns we've ever run – responsible for ideating, filming, editing, and posting content across channels. If you live on TikTok, already create content yourself, have a real point of view on what makes something worth watching, and want to be part of building something from scratch at a fast-moving fintech startup, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program; based in New York City for the duration of the summer
• Active personal presence on TikTok and/or YouTube with a portfolio that demonstrates filming and editing ability – links required in application
• Hands-on experience shooting and editing short-form or long-form video content, with a strong eye for pacing, hooks, and what performs natively on each platform
• Willing and able to travel for 2 weeks in June as part of a live content production trip
• Self-starter who can operate independently in a fast-moving, zero-to-one environment; this is not a role with a playbook already written
• Obsessive about TikTok and YouTube trends, formats, and algorithm behavior; you don't just consume content, you study it

Compensation:

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits, signing bonus, and equity. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Coast employees.

• For interns Coast will pay $4,000 a month
