Job Description

HR & Finance Summer Internship (Full Time)    

The HR & Finance Summer Internship is a full-time, seasonal opportunity designed to provide practical, hands-on experience in church administration and financial operations. This program equips college students or recent graduates with meaningful exposure to Human Resources and Finance within a ministry setting.

Interns will contribute directly to daily operations, seasonal initiatives, and process improvements while gaining mentorship and professional development

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Human Resources and Finance teams
  • Assist with data entry, record maintenance, and system updates
  • Support documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking processes
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and financial information
  • Assist with onboarding, communication coordination, and internal process support
  • Support accounts payable, receivable, and expense reconciliation tasks as assigned
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and seasonal projects
  • Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and professional development activitie
  • Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and timely task completion
  • Uphold organizational values while supporting ministry operations

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION        Current college student or recent graduate in Business, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field essential

EXPERIENCE        Essential, Interest in nonprofit or ministry operations preferred
