Job Description

Action Behavior Centers provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy at home for children ages 18 months to 13 years diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our in-home ABA services bring therapy directly into a child’s familiar environment to make learning meaningful, personalized, and engaging.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, daytime hours (8am-5pm) *May volunteer for an occasional Saturday based on patient needs
  • Position is full-time

  • Experience that’s a PLUS (but not required): Childcare: nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor. Mental Health Roles: QMHP, behavioral health technicians. Camp Counselors, Paraprofessionals, Caregivers, Life Skill Assistants

    Pay (determined by education and ABA experience)
  • High School/Associate’s Degree: $15.50-$23.50 per hour
  • Bachelor’s Degree: $16.50–$25.50 per hour
  • Master’s Degree: $17.50–$27.00 per hour
  • Additional Benefits: An additional $2.00/ hr premium pay on top of base wages, mileage reimbursement and two oil changes per year (up to $50)
  • Fun Fact: You will receive your first raise after obtaining your RBT certification! Most new hires complete this in about three weeks. 

    What You’ll be Doing:
  • Work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 12 years old using play-based ABA therapy
  • Travel to clients’ homes to provide care in comfortable, familiar environments, with the ability to drive up to 45 minutes each way as needed.
  • Work autonomously to manage your caseload, taking ownership of your work while using your clinical expertise to support children’s growth and development.
  • Follow personalized treatment plans, collect simple data, and communicate with your team
  • Help kids learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities
  • Stay active during sessions, moving constantly to stay engaged with children
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe therapy space

  • Drive your personal vehicle to patient appointments. Arrive promptly and ready to work. Focus entirely on your patient during direct therapy sessions.

    Job Requirements:
  • Lift up to 30lbs
  • Sit, stand, crouch, squat, and move quickly with young children
  • Get on and off the floor frequently
  • Maintain an active pace throughout the day
  • Keep therapy spaces clean, organized, and safe
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
  • Commitment to ABC’s core value of team; may occasionally help support a nearby sister clinic if that center is experiencing a need for coverage
