Medical Assistant – Certified (MA-C)
The Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C) supports providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered primary care. This role serves as a key member of the care team, assisting with patient intake, clinical quality measures, documentation, referrals, and procedures to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent care.
Key Duties:
· Room patients, obtain histories and vital signs
· Track and document clinical quality measures in the EHR
· Assist providers with exams, procedures, and charting
· Administer medications and immunizations per protocol
· Coordinate labs, referrals, and specialty care
· Provide excellent customer service using the AIDET model
Qualifications:
· Graduate of an approved MA program
· Current MA-C license (or MA-Interim with certification within 90 days)
· BLS/CPR required (or within 90 days)
· Ambulatory care experience preferred
· Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Fast-paced outpatient setting. May require travel to other clinic locations.
