Location: Irvine, CA - Onsite required

Position Description: 
DZYNE Technologies is excited to welcome a Finance Intern to the organization this summer. This Intern will have an opportunity to gain hands-on finance experience and learn about the various aspects of the accounting function at DZYNE Technologies. 

Responsibilities:
  • Document/review internal financial process and recommend changes to management
  • Assist in the development of program forecasts, budgets, and plans
  • Analyze and research financial information
  • Assist in creating accurate reports
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • The ability to prioritize multiple assignments and to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Education/Experience:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
  • Prior Internship experience preferred but not required
Travel: None required   Physical Demands:    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: 
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment, using computers and other office equipment. 
  • Capability to travel to field sites, including manufacturing facilities, test sites, or operational environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. occasionally for handling technical equipment or documentation.
Work Authorization Requirement:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.   Salary: $27.00 / hour   Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. Established in 1973, Young Community Developers, Inc. (YCD) is a 50 year old 501c (3) community based organization that provides a variety of training and support opportunities for residents of the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood of San Francisco. Per year some eighteen hundred individuals (1,800) receive employment and training related services through YCD. The targeted population is among the hardest to serve. Over the years YCD has successfully operated both educational and employment based training opportunities for residents of the Southeast Sector.
