By embracing these values, we foster a culture that not only delivers exceptional results but also makes LogistiQ a great place to work.   JOB SUMMARY: As the Sales Intern at LogistiQ, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our order processing team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.  This role plays a key part in ensuring incoming customer requests are accurately captured, organized and prepared for efficient processing.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to: Under direct supervision, the Human Resources Intern will:
  • Assist sales team to create sales opportunities 
  • Assist with fielding inbound requests and validating dates
  • Assist with preparing orders for final entry
  • Other duties as assigned
  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • None.
TRAVEL DEMANDS:
  • This position may require occasional travel.
  QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders & community leaders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization & employees.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in an office setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor. On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
