The intern is responsible for assisting in the delivery of direct and indirect high-quality, patient and family-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse mentor. Key duties include demonstrating basic skills in observing, assessing, communicating patient needs, planning and providing direct patient care, and performing non-therapeutic functions as directed.
This student nurse internship is for individuals with a high school diploma or equivalent who are currently enrolled in an accredited School/Department of Nursing program. Candidates should have successfully completed their school's Fundamental Nursing Skills Laboratory and be enrolled in or have completed at least one semester of relevant clinical practicum, as well as possess good interpersonal skills.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in an accredited School/Department of Nursing program.
EXPERIENCE
Has successfully completed their school's Fundamental Nursing Skills Laboratory and is currently enrolled in or has completed at least one semester of relevant clinical practicum in the school's program.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Good interpersonal skills.
