The ideal candidate will be pursuing or have completed a degree in business, economics, marketing, analytics, or a related field and possess strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Description

(Full-time/Long-term Internship) 

Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.

Approximate Duration: May 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.

Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Basic Function of the Position: 
The Product Innovation Intern will support CTA’s Innovation Team in researching, evaluating, and developing new products and services. This role will assist with market research, data analysis, and pilot initiatives, providing hands-on experience in product innovation and strategy within a mission-driven organization.
 
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support discovery efforts to identify customer needs
  • Assist in evaluating new product ideas (market demand, pricing, adoption)
  • Help build basic business cases and summarize findings
  • Support development of innovation frameworks and tracking metrics
  • Assist with pilots and early-stage product initiatives
  • Compile data, track performance, and prepare reports/presentations
  • Provide general team and project support
     

Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Currently pursuing or a completed degree in business, economics, marketing, analytics, or related field
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Interest in product development, innovation, or strategy
  • Coursework or experience in market research, entrepreneurship, or product management preferred
  • Familiarity with data analysis or business case development preferred
     

Additional Information:

  • Travel to CES 2027 is required.
  • PAID Internship.
