We are looking for a detail-oriented and multitasking intern to support the CES Operations team in preshow and on-site logistics planning for CES 2027. Ideal candidates will have some customer service and/or event management experience, strong communication skills, and be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management or Marketing or commensurate experience preferred.

Job Description

(2 Positions Available)

(Full-time/Long-term Internship) 

Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.

Approximate Duration: June/July 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.

Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Basic Function of the Position:
This position is hands-on learning experience providing support to the CES Operations department as they manage preshow and on-site logistics planning for CES 2027.
 
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the CES Operations team and assist with projects including, but not limited to:

  • Manage exhibitor calls and emails pertaining to the CES Exhibitor Manual and other preshow planning tools.
  • Assist Operations team with the management of the CESOps inbox for exhibitor customer service
  • Assist Operations team in preparing and filing contracts, invoices and check requests.
  • Maintain website content on CES.tech and show planning pages.
  • Assist with contracting and onboarding of temporary staff including floor managers and office managers.
  • Assist with processing graphics and work orders.
  • Plan catering requirements.
  • Travel to Las Vegas in January to:
    • Provide exhibitor support.
    • Execute staff work orders.
    • Manage staff communication schedule and equipment.
    • Coordinate return staff shipment to Arlington.
    • Other related projects and duties as assigned.

Work Experience:

  • Customer service and/or event management experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Some prior office experience preferred.
     

Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Event Management or Marketing or commensurate experience preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Must be comfortable with working in a team-oriented environment
  • Customer service and/or event management experience is preferred.
  • Candidate should have strong communication skills.
  • Travel to CES 2027 is required.
