We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused intern to assist with sales event management for CES. The role involves processing applications, handling exhibitor inquiries, and providing on-site support during the event; travel to CES 2027 in Las Vegas is required. Ideal candidates are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Business, Event Management, Customer Service, or a related field, and possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Job Description

(2 Positions Available)

(Full-time/Long-term Internship) 

Hours Per Week: Approximately 35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.

Approximate Duration: May 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.

Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.


Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with qualifying and processing applications/contracts.
  • Assist with the distribution of column details. Review exhibitor manual and send booth logistic information to clients as requested.
  • Process floorplan requests booth moves and floorplan requests. 
     Handle exhibitor inquiries and concerns related to show accounts, booth setup, and exhibitor directories.
  • Assist with exhibitor account updates and access to the Exhibitor Dashboard.
  • Assist with qualifying and processing applications/contracts.
  • Attend department and planning meetings.
  • Prepare and label boxes for staff shipment.
  • Assist with on-site staff office setup.
  • Assist with the PowerPoint presentation for CES on-site training.
  • Attend CES in Las Vegas providing support during client renewal process including but not limited reception assistance, [add other job duties during space selection] 
  • Perform other assignments or duties as needed.
     

Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Event Management, Customer Service, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer and team-oriented approach.
  • Positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus but not required.
     

Additional Information:

  • Travel to CES 2027 is required.
  • PAID Internship.
