We are looking for an Accounting/Finance Intern to assist our team with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and contract processing. The ideal candidate will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting and have experience with MS Office. This hybrid internship offers flexible hours and valuable experience in a professional office environment.

Job Description

(Full-time/Long-term Internship) 

Hours Per Week: Approximately 20–35 hours per week (standard business hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM). Schedules are flexible to accommodate current student class commitments.

Approximate Duration: May 2026 through early/mid-2027. Internships may last up to 11 months from the start date.

Hybrid Work Schedule: Interns are expected to work onsite Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Basic Function of the Position: 

This position will assist the accounting and finance team in many different areas. These areas include but are not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, contract processing, collections and working with internal databases relevant to the major functions of the organization.
 
 Critical Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inputting receivables for CTA and CES into Impexium/Expocad.
  • Cash application for CTA and CES into Impexium/Expocad.
  • Assist with the completion of monthly account reconciliations.
  • Assist with the completion of audit schedules and audit requests.
  • Assist with CTA and CES contract entry.
  • Inputting payables for CTA and CES into Concur.
  • Perform other duties as required by business needs.

Work Experience:

  • Work and/or internship experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Experience in meetings/conventions/special events preferred.

Education and Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting preferred.
  • MS Office and internet experience required.
  • Database and/or HTML experience a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Some overtime and travel to CES 2027 may be required.
  • Individual supports several staff and must have the ability to prioritize projects.
  • This is a non-exempt position.
  • PAID Internship.
