How You Will Make a Difference
- Perform frequent safety rounds, observations, and 1:1s as assigned; document behaviors and interventions.
- Lead or assist with groups: coping skills, grounding, recreation, and ADLs support.
- Partner with RNs during crises using verbal de‑escalation, redirection, and team response protocols.
- Support admissions/intakes: belongings inventory, vitals, and orientation to the unit.
- Maintain a therapeutic, tidy environment and uphold visitor policies.
- Ensure continuity of care overnight with vigilant observation and timely documentation.
- Manage after‑hours admissions and urgent needs; prepare a thorough handoff to the day team.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma/GED required; some college or STNA/EMT experience preferred.
- Age 21+; ability to stand/walk for long periods and assist with lifts/transfers as needed.
- Empathy, consistency, and clear communication.
