Job Description
The Recruiting Associate will verify work, training, and driving/safety history of potential CDL driver hires.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties as assigned
- Conduct verification investigations on all incoming applications by:
- Conducting background and criminal investigations
- Verify previous employment and training history
- Verify licenses and credentials
- Run Motor Vehicle Report and review accident history
- Maintain driver files in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Other related duties, including returned and outgoing mail, running reports, and processing class lists
Special Skills: Must have great communication skills and deal well with different personalities. Attention to detail is also important. Bilingual ability in Spanish is very helpful.
Special Training: Must be familiar with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is needed. Administrative or customer service experience is beneficial.
