Job Description
Supply Chain – Summer Intern
Location: Newton, NC
Departments: Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations
Duration: Summer Internship (10–12 weeks)
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Supply Chain Summer Intern to support data, cost, and supplier‑related projects. This role is ideal for students pursuing Supply Chain, Logistics, Packaging, Engineering, or related degrees who enjoy working with data and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities / Projects
- PFEP (Plan for Every Part): Collect and consolidate part data from multiple sources.
- Cost Estimate Workbook: Build an easy tool to calculate packaging needs, packaging cost, freight cost, and cost per unit using part dimensions and weight.
- Supplier Allocation Analysis: Review supplier workloads by quantity and complexity to support better allocation decisions.
Qualifications
- Currently working toward a degree in Supply Chain, Packaging, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleanup).
- Comfortable working with data and performing basic analysis.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
