We are looking for a Pest Technician to provide routine service to residential and commercial customers. A Colorado Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide Applicator License – Category 304 (general residential and commercial pest control) is highly preferred, as is experience with multiple pest types and treatment methods.

Job Description

Job Description:

As a Pest Technician, you won’t be tied to a desk; you’ll be out and about — mobile and independent. You will take the lead in providing routine service to residential and commercial customers, on route-based assignments, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each location. You’ll become an expert in applying our company's products to safely eliminate pests. Our Techs serve as problem solvers for customers by utilizing our in-depth training program to decide on the most efficient and best overall solution for each customer's unique needs. Pest Technicians are trained to identify and alert customers of additional service offerings that provide value to the customer, helping with sales to current customers, and expanding our services to new customers. Pest Technicians display strong communication skills when providing product / service information when working with our customers onsite.  

Work conditions: Pests don’t always live in nice places — and that’s where we do our work. But don’t worry – we’ll prepare you with all you need to do the work safely and as comfortably as possible. You’ll need to be able to work both inside and outside in your local climate in company-provided weather gear. 

A Colorado Department of Agriculture Commercial Pesticide Applicator License – Category 304 (general residential and commercial pest control) is highly preferred! 

Wage Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. The starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

Must Haves: 

  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving  
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded). 
  • At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle) 
  • Committed to safety and the use of all the proper PPE the job requires 
  • Friendly and dedicated to great customer service 
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently and as part of a crew  
  • Encourage a Positive Team Atmosphere & Willingness to Help Others

Preferred / Considered:

  • Previously licensed technicians in Category 304 or other structural/general pest control licenses
  • Experience with multiple pest types and treatment methods
  • Proven experience in residential or commercial pest control
