Position Summary
The Clinical Research Dietitian will participate in planning, designing, and managing research on nutrition and behavioral studies; design, lead, and deliver nutrition counseling and culinary education as part of integrated Food Is Medicine initiatives; perform body composition measures, and nutrition-related clinical techniques; support research regulatory compliance and activities; collaborate with principal investigator and research collaborators to disseminate results; assist with the training and/or supervise potential graduate and undergraduate students, and other laboratory (or research) staff; other duties as assigned. The position will work closely with clinical providers, community partners, and program staff to translate nutrition science into accessible, skills-based education that improves health outcomes, food and nutrition security, and long-term dietary behavior change.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Human Nutrition, Dietetics or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience required; 1 year of relevant experience required. Registered Dietitian Nutritionist preferred; considerable experience in a clinical research capacity preferred; experience in nutritional counseling & broad understanding of issues related to nutritional clinical trials preferred.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
