Job Description

The Admission Office is seeking a limited number of current students and graduating seniors to work as tour guides over the summer. This is a great opportunity to represent the school, connect with prospective families, and gain professional experience.

Duties as a tour guide will include:

  • Welcome families and complete information sessions
  • Giving in person and virtual tours to prospective families
  • Working with Admission Staff to complete special projects
  • Corresponding with Prospective students and families
  • Other duties as needed

Students who are most qualified for this role usually have experience giving campus tours, are very reliable, and have availability over the course of the summer to work. Anticipated time commitment is from June 1, 2026 to August 28, 2026; Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, some days vary.  For more information contact Mr. Brown at (209) 648-8728.  The minimum age to be employed at Phillips Academy is 16.  This position does not offer housing.

Requirements-

  • Andover student, current or recently graduate
  • Tour guide experience is a plus, please include in your application

If interested, complete application by May 8, 2026. Review of applications will begin immediately.  To start working background checks will need to be completed (fingerprinting, CORI/SORI, MA Minor work permit).  Instructions will be provided for background checks and fingerprinting costs will be reimbursed with provided receipts.

Out of the Blue at Phillips Academy Andover is a project supported by the entire Community and Multicultural Development (CAMD) office to capture and share the true stories of PA students with the broader community. This project will gather stories about identity areas from students and faculty.
