SUMMARY: 

The Intern is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting departmental projects, and completing assigned tasks to meet business needs. This position offers the opportunity to gain practical experience, develop professional competencies, and collaborate with team members across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Support team members with assigned projects and ongoing initiatives
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas or feedback
• Complete assigned tasks within established timelines and guidelines
• Provide general support to ensure efficient workflow within the department
• Assist with day-to-day departmental operations and administrative tasks
• Support data collection and basic analysis for AI initiatives
• Research emerging AI tools and industry trends
• Additional duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be working toward, or have completed, college education in related field 

Computer and Technology Skills:  

• Ability to use MS Office Suite is required

Language Skills:  

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. German language speaking skills is another advantage.

Mathematical Skills: 

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. 

Reasoning Ability: 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
