Job Description

LaBella Associates is seeking a motivated Transmission and Distribution Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is a great opportunity for students studying Engineering or a related field to gain hands-on experience in the power delivery industry. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineers on various projects involving both overhead and underground electric designs for utility companies.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings, performing calculations, conducting research, and participating in site visits. This position will provide you with valuable insights into the practical application of engineering principles in a professional setting.

This is a paid internship opportunity, and we are looking for candidates who can work part-time during the school year and potentially full-time during the summer.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance and a passion for the power delivery industry.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with good problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience or coursework related to power systems or electrical distribution is appreciated but not required.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
