Prior Service Advisor experience in a dealership

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Greet all customers promptly and professionally
  • Determine customer’s primary concern and then review additional maintenance needs when appropriate
  • Offer a no cost vehicle condition inspection to every customer
  • Give and document fair, competitive, transparent price quotes, with the customer and dealership’s best interest in mind
  • Communicate with each customer in a fashion that leaves them feeling comfortable and informed every time
  • Handle all customer complaints immediately and resolve to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Establish and maintain great customer relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
  • Work as a team player and uphold the company’s standards of professionalism and integrity
  • Other duties as assigned

Here is what you will need:

  • Minimum 1+ years prior Service Advisor experience required in a dealership or secondary shop
  • Mainline advisor experience is preferred
  • High Volume dealership experience preferred
  • CDK experience is preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED is required
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic and team oriented
  • Must be skilled at listening, problem solving and communication
  • Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
  • Valid driver’s license

The Cavender Auto Group has been selling and servicing automobiles and trucks in San Antonio and South Texas for over 80 years. James M. Cavender Jr. started Cavender Oldsmobile in 1939. Over the next 30 years, Cavender Oldsmobile would become one of the top Olds dealerships in the country based on sales and customer satisfaction. With the help of his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, James Cavender would acquire a Cadillac dealership in 1979. By the mid 1980’s the third generation of Cavender boys would enter the automobile business. Today the Cavender name is associated with 8 separate dealership facilities selling Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Land Rover, Ford and Nissan brands.
