Shift: First - 9 or 10 am, 8 hour days with a weekend rotation and includes holidays.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions
• Prepares and delivers all formulas, and milk accurately according to written procedures and adhering to quality control
standards.
• Performs accurate calculations based on the order.
• Verifies new or questionable orders with a Registered Dietitian for accuracy and obtains standardized recipes as needed.
• Identifies any potential food allergens in a product ordered for patients
• Record information as necessary
• Maintains inventories of supplies
• Monitors the centralized tracking system for the Formula and Milk Room refrigerator and addresses any temperature ranges outside
of the established guidelines.
• Maintain daily records on any departmental essential information
• Utilize the barcode scanning software system for human milk feedings.
• Keeps the refrigerators, freezers, and working areas clean and organized at all times.
• Identifies and stores the human milk that is donated in the Milk Depot freezers and keeps appropriate records of the donated
milk which is sent to the Milk Bank for processing.
• Utilizes independent double verification of feedings prior to and at delivery with other Formula and Milk Techs and nursing.
• Follows departmental HACCP guidelines for infection prevention.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state,
and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
