Hitchiner is offering a summer internship program for students to gain real-world experience in a manufacturing environment. The internship is open to Bachelor's degree candidates in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Robotics, Materials Engineering, Chemical, or Automation, who have completed their sophomore year, and possess good communication, organizational skills, and computer literacy. Familiarity with engineering concepts such as SolidWorks and GD&T is a plus.

Looking for a well-rounded internship experience in manufacturing?
There are many different projects available including collecting data for labor hours against standard and efficiency analysis; product and process engineering analysis for shrink and scrap factors; and improving documentation for gage calibration. Additionally, throughout the internship, interns will have the opportunity to develop mentoring relationships with members of Hitchiner’s management team and network with their peers.
