SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for assisting with the maintenance and repair of the facility’s structure, equipment, and grounds. This role will encompass a range of essential duties aimed at ensuring optimal operational efficiency and safety within the manufacturing environment.

  • Perform various maintenance duties such as furniture moves, basic electrical projects, painting, light construction, and exterior cleanup.
  • Operate hand and power tools, as well as site equipment, to carry out maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment, documenting work orders thoroughly to reflect the steps taken, parts installed, and repairs performed.
  • Assist with maintaining the facilities by performing minor and routine painting, plumbing and other related maintenance activities. 
  • Adhere to safety practices, including Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures and Risk Analysis prior to maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school background is a plus.
  • 0-2 years of documented experience in the facilities or manufacturing field, with a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in office computing applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel) and excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems is preferred.
  • Physical ability to work in a high-noise environment and safely navigate physical hazards.
