Job Description

Join Our Team as a Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational financial analysis across assigned facilities. This role plays an important part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting audits, and assisting leadership in evaluating financial performance.

The Financial Analyst will work closely with finance leadership to review financial data, maintain reporting systems, and support the preparation of key financial and regulatory reports.


Your Impact as a Financial Analyst

  • Prepare Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports with final review and approval by the Manager
  • Run payroll reports and upload data into the appropriate reporting systems
  • Transfer and enter petty cash information into the financial data system
  • Deposit checks and reconcile accounts and bank statements
  • Analyze monthly Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Bank Statements, Payroll Information, Accrual Logs, and Financial Checklists
  • Support the preparation and completion of Staff Enhancement Reports, including payroll reports, RUG level reports, and census reports
  • Assist with gathering and submitting documentation for internal and external audits in a timely manner
  • Perform monthly financial statement reviews for assigned facilities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, and financial reporting standards

  • Ability to comply with company and departmental safety policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret financial reports and identify discrepancies or trends
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant financial or accounting experience required
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and data analysis
  • Experience working with financial systems or data reporting platforms preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Operational Finance and Reporting.
