The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join our Capabilities Development group within the Command, Control, Communication, and Intelligence business line. Responsibilities:
In this role, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks including development, implementation, code review, and test for our product areas. The software engineer will work both individually and as part of our agile development team. In this role, you will enhance, and maintain complex software systems for the US Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) community. Candidates must be self-motivated individuals who can understand technical concepts, communicate clearly, and are able and willing to collaborate on technical items within the larger project team.


Qualifications:

Required: 

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Python and/or C++ development within a Linux environment
• Familiar with the concepts of multi threaded/parallel design
• Familiar with GitLab, Arti factory, Harbor, Nexus, etc.
• Understanding of software design concepts, patterns, tools, and best practices
• Familiar with containers (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Familiar with distributed/asynchronous programming paradigms
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
