About this Position

Primerica's Accounting department is seeking an intern who will support the team with daily tasks such as reviewing incoming mail in the mornings and gathering backup for reports and reconciliations in the afternoons. The role also includes helping with month‑end activities and small financial projects. This internship gives students hands‑on experience with real financial data, helps build Excel skills, and offers exposure to corporate accounting in a fast‑paced environment. Fingerprinting may be required.

Salary range is $18–$22 per hour, depending on the student’s undergraduate level. Salary ranges for graduate students may vary.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Work with Managers to provide accounting support in various areas.
  • Assist with reconciling incoming payments
  • Assist with research items for reconciliations
  • Run reports and enter amounts/quantities in a spreadsheet for reporting
  • Contribute to special projects such as process improvements or financial analysis.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working toward a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related areas of study.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and MS Outlook 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Advanced skills with Excel (preferred.)
