About the Role: 

The Help Desk Technician is responsible for Help Desk tickets submitted to the Kimbel Mechanical Systems (KMS) Help Desk system and is responsible for response and follow-up on assigned tickets to ensure that the Information Technology (IT) Department keeps their Service Level Agreement (SLA) with KMS users. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for working through the full life-cycle of help desk tickets, from origination to customer satisfaction. The Help Desk Technician answers to the IT Operations Manager.

\nEssential Duties & Job Functions:
  • Ensure that KMS IT keeps their SLA on Help Desk Tickets by responding and following up on assigned tickets.
  • Troubleshoot computers, phones, tablets, printers, servers, and other equipment as needed.
  • Process New Hires.
  • Document processes and maintain redundancy with other Help Desk Team members via cross-training. 
  • Triage and assign tickets to other members of the IT team.
  • Research ways to automate Help Desk activities and improve efficiency.

Details:
  • Pay: +$15/hour
  • Schedule: 40-hour week: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday 
  • Length of Internship: 3 months
  • Travel: Occasional travel to remote markets to support employees or address IT infrastructure issues
  • Location: On Site in Fayetteville, AR
