Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a professional, reliable, and highly organized Receptionist to join our growing construction team. This role is a key part of our office operations, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also ensuring that our office is well-stocked with essential supplies and materials. 

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, subcontractors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner 
  • Answer and route incoming calls, take messages, and respond to basic inquiries 
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services 
  • Maintain the reception area and common office spaces in a clean and organized manner 
  • Monitor inventory of office and field supplies (e.g., PPE, safety gear, stationery) 
  • Place orders for office and field supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective purchasing 
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to track orders and resolve issues 
  • Provide administrative support to project managers and office staff (e.g., filing, data entry) 
  • Assist with booking meetings, scheduling deliveries, and supporting field crews as needed 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; office administration training is an asset
  • Prior experience in a construction or trades-related office environment is a plus 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with order systems 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment 
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented 

Posted Salary Range

USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
