The Client Relations Intern is responsible for assisting the Client Relations Coordinator and assisting the CRC client base. Under the direction of the Client Relations Coordinator, the Client Relations Intern is accountable for ensuring we keep our promise of superior client servicing to all unassigned clients.

Responsibilities

Business Operations

  • Assists in the operations of the CRC Department by completing the following:
    • Client Management – Answering calls/emails when clients reach out for servicing and getting them directed to the correct shared financial representative, or the CRC Coordinator.
    • CRM Cleanup – Making sure that our CRC 00049 CRM contacts are properly put in the same household, has active products, and all active products are assigned to the correct financial representative.
  • Assists in oversight of financial representatives in the CRC Program:
    • Running weekly production reports and sending them to the CRC Coordinator
    • Running weekly activity reports and sending them to the CRC Coordinator
    • Identifies opportunities for activity and possibly sales with financial representatives
  • Accompanies the CRC Coordinator to CRC 1x1’s with financial representatives in the CRC Program.

Client Management

  • #1 priority is making sure that we keep the promise made to these clients by ensuring they are getting reached out to by financial representatives in the CRC Program.
  • Assist the CRC Coordinator with the client transfer of all terminated financial representatives
  • Assist in providing support for client transitions/segmentations
  • Assist with incoming service requests from clients
  • Maintain compliant client contacts

Qualifications

  • Client service experience required.
  • Advanced computer/sales database knowledge preferred.
  • CRM experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of financial planning products is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, marketing or related field is preferred.
  • Licensing and contracting minimum recommendations when interacting with clients based on the network office territory:
    • Associate Financial Representative Contract.
    • Life Insurance license (must obtain within 90 days of hiring).
    • NMIS Registration (Series 6/7 and 63).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective time management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Physical tasks: Willing to lift and move client files is a plus as paper files need to be organized.
  • Must be able to work well in teams.
  • Diligent and is always striving for success.
