Job Description

Our Finance Development Program (“FDP”) is designed to provide early career professionals a broad and well-rounded learning experience to prepare them to be future leaders of Mauser. The program will last 2-3 years, with participants completing various rotations designed to enhance technical and leadership skills needed to succeed. Each rotation will last ~6-12 months and include exposure to various finance disciplines at a Corporate, Group and Plant level. 

Program Goals

  • Experience Broad and Cross Functional Opportunities: Participants will experience exponential growth technically, analytically and professionally across multiple finance disciplines. This allows participants to gain in-depth knowledge of the business, build relationships across the broader finance team and allow them to add value throughout the organization. 
  • Exposure and Access to multiple aspects of the Business and Finance: Program participants are challenged by engaging with many different aspects of Finance within a manufacturing environment.  This will enable a broad foundation that will benefit the team member’s development, creating a well-rounded finance professional.
  • Develop and Build your skillset: Participants will receive on-going coaching to enhance analytical, leadership, presentation, and communication skillsets. Throughout the program, participants receive mentorship to help them in their professional development and increase readiness for next position/advancement.
  • Deliver Results in your role: Participants are expected to be driven, learn quickly and deliver results in each of their rotations.
  • Have Fun: Participate in “Lunch & Learns”, build relationships with colleagues, and more.

Program Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; prior work experience not required, although roles are also open to individuals with work experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communication skills and presence; ability to express oneself clearly and concisely
  • Fast learner and willingness to adapt to change
  • Driven to succeed; motivated to grow career at Mauser
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, with high level of ethics and integrity
