Oetiker is looking for a Manufacturing Associate for a 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday). Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 6-12 months of light manufacturing experience. Key skills include attention to detail, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Salary Range: $38,000 - $42,000
Position Summary
Assembles automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes by performing the following duties:
Essential Functions
•Assembles O-rings, clips, shipping plugs & caps into parts according to part procedure
•Understands the machine and its functions and operate according to the procedure, following all safety procedures
•Reads and understands job procedure
•Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as company policies
•Conducts leak testing as required by part procedure
•Conducts in-process parts inspection to ensure product quality and completeness
•As designated, trains manufacturing associates in procedures and processes
•Ensures daily production schedule is attained
•Knowledge of Leading2Lean
•Knowledge of SAP
•Maintains a clean and organized work area, in compliance with 5S requirements
•Performs and understands importance of processes in place to ensure machine is running accurately (such as running duds and/or use of gauges)
•Keeps machines running with minimal downtime
•Performs basic repair and setup
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and handheld scanners, as well as excellent attention to detail
Qualifications
Education / Experience
•High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 6-12 months related light manufacturing experience required
This is a 2nd shift position. Regular hours are 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
