Job Description

Audubon is currently seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team in our Houston, TX Office.  The Marketing Intern will perform marketing assignments designed to develop practical knowledge and experience related to marketing communications, content creation, and brand support initiatives. This role supports ongoing marketing projects, recruitment-related materials, and digital communications while gaining exposure to corporate marketing operations in an engineering and consulting environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with marketing projects, including content development for internal and external communications.
  • Support writing and editing efforts for marketing materials, recruitment collateral, presentations, and digital content.
  • Assist with social media support, including content drafting, scheduling assistance, and basic performance tracking.
  • Help update and maintain recruitment and employer branding materials in collaboration with the marketing and recruiting teams.
  • Gather and organize information, images, and content from internal teams to support marketing initiatives.
  • Provide general support for marketing initiatives and campaigns as assigned.
  • Assist with limited event-related tasks as needed, such as preparing materials or supporting logistics (not event ownership).
  • Adhere to company branding standards, quality guidelines, and approval processes.
  • Comply with all company health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required / Preferred Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Enrollment in or completion of at least 2 years of university coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity, tone, and detail.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions and request clarification as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
  • Basic familiarity with social media platforms and digital content preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred.
  • Experience with or interest in tools such as Canva or similar design platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems and adapt to changing priorities.
