Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector.

This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field.

Interns gain access to: 

• Meaningful in-person work experience in the arts and culture sector
• Professional development workshops focused on career readiness
• A vibrant community of peers and program alumni
• A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center
• Access to special events that reflect Lincoln Center’s mission as the world’s leading performing arts center

What you’ll get to do:

• Administrative support in season planning, including compiling artist memos, tracking contracts, filing receipts and invoices, and communicating with orchestra musicians. May be done both in person and remotely.
• Onsite support for Festival Orchestra activities, including artist services & hospitality support, co-producing panel series with supervisor, maintaining musician notice board, and other administrative projects on a case-by-case basis.
• Season wrap-up, including filing receipts & invoices, updating training documents.

You'll be a great fit if...  

• A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent
• Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
• Available to work 35 hours per week from June–August 2026, including evenings and weekends
• Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
• A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
• Passionate about arts, leadership, and community impact
