About this position:
The Investments Intern will support the Investments department by analyzing fixed annuity data, coordinating timely client outreach, and maintaining accurate investment-related records.
What You'll do:
Research and analyze MaxWealth Management’s book of fixed annuity business to determine surrender dates.
Shadow operations team to gain exposure to FIRNA and SEC compliance and regulations related to processing securities industry transactions and paperwork.
Shadow financial advisors to gain exposure into their day-to-day responsibilities.
Review existing and enter new data in relationship management software to maintain accurate reporting of member accounts who are also investment clients.
Coordinate and schedule reminders for financial advisors to contact clients prior to surrender dates to discuss available options.
What You'll bring:
Major in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field of study is preferred.
College student at freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior, or master level status, or a recent college graduate within the last 3 months.
3.0 GPA or greater preferred.
