RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide consistent, high quality occupational therapy services in line with scope of practice to address both acute and chronic conditions
Serve as a required member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and attends IDT meetings daily to coordinate the care of participants along with the other required 10 clinicians/disciplines of the IDT
Perform initial, annual, semi-annual, change of condition, or routine occupational therapy assessments as assigned
Plan and prepare occupational therapy treatment plan based on thorough evaluation of participant
Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum participant benefit
Instruct family, caregivers, and other personnel to maximize participant independence, function, and safety
Assess participant level of function in the home environment, to include recommendations for durable medical equipment and home modifications
Provide robust clinical supervision and direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants including appropriate delegation of therapy services to an assistant according to the complexity of participants needs
Participate in the development of the interdisciplinary team plan of care
Orients, instructs and directs work activities of aides and students
Fulfills company documentation requirements

Qualifications
Graduate of a bachelors, masters, or doctoral occupational therapy program

Active (or pending) license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Colorado; Final job offer contingent on active state license
