  • Contribute to experimentation efforts involving LLM-powered workflows under guidance from senior team members

  • Help prepare, clean, and structure large datasets for modeling and analysis using SQL and Python

  • Participate in model validation, performance tracking, and documentation of assumptions and results

  • Assist with prototype development and proof-of-concept solutions, learning how models transition from experimentation to practical application

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (underwriting, actuarial, claims, IT) to understand business problems and translate them into analytical approaches

  • Support work within cloud-based environments such as AWS, gaining exposure to scalable data workflows

Qualifications / Experience Required:

  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in applying AI to business problems

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly

What You’ll Gain

  • Practical experience applying machine learning in a specialty P&C insurance context

  • Exposure to LLM experimentation and text-based modeling use cases

  • Understanding of how analytics solutions move from prototype to production

  • Hands-on experience working with cloud-based data tools

  • Mentorship from experienced data scientists and business leaders

  • Opportunity to present findings and contribute to real business initiatives

  • Potential consideration for future internship or full-time opportunities
