Role description:

We are seeking motivated Computer Science graduates to join our software engineering team in Boca Raton, FL. This entry-level role is ideal for those with a strong foundation in computer science principles and a passion for building enterprise-level software applications. You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow into a high-impact engineer by mastering our technology stack and development practices.

Role accountabilities: 

• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and maintain web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Support backend development efforts using C# and the .NET platform.
• Work with relational databases, primarily SQL Server, to manage and query data efficiently.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Engage with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve coding efficiency and quality.
• Adapt to and follow our architectural standards and software development lifecycle.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and best practices within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field with a graduation date within the past 2 years.
• Solid understanding of core computer science concepts and programming fundamentals.
• Academic or project experience with:
  • Front-end web frameworks (Angular preferred, or React).
  • Backend development with C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server).

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP,  401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement.  We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $49,390 - $79,023. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
