Our maintenance team is the heartbeat of our operation, and we’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys solving problems, staying curious, and making a real impact every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

You’ll be the expert for keeping our production equipment in top shape. Your days will include a mix of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and the occasional fabrication project to help improve our equipment. You’ll work closely with a supportive maintenance crew, but you’ll also have the independence to take on tasks solo when needed.

  • Working safely and helping maintain a safe, clean environment for everyone
  • Performing preventive maintenance and completing work orders promptly
  • Monitoring production lines and stepping in quickly when issues arise
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Inspecting equipment and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting plant and food safety standards, including GMP and sanitation
  • Keeping accurate records of all work performed

What We're Looking For

You’re someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and digging into mechanical challenges. You’re steady, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

You'll bring:

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to read equipment, electrical, and PLC blueprints
  • Comfort working on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • A self-starter mindset with strong follow through
  • Willingness to work overtime or be called in when needed
  • Basic math skills
  • Openness to occasional travel.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Experience with PLCs, ammonia refrigeration, beverage production, or packaging equipment is a plus—but not required. We’re happy to help the right person grow.

Wis-Pak, Inc. was founded to provide a centralized supply of canned soft drink products to its owners, Pepsi-Cola Franchise bottlers. On June 26, 1969, Watertown, Wisconsin was chosen as the site for a 64,000 square foot facility and Continental Can was selected as the prime supplier of canning equipment.
