As a Quantum Software Engineer, you will contribute to building a groundbreaking scalable commercial quantum computer—the first of its kind. In this role, you will design, implement, and integrate system software responsible for initializing and operating quantum components in real time. You will develop and deploy innovative tools and secure solutions to tackle computationally challenging problems. Collaboration is central to your work: you will partner closely with experimental physicists and hardware engineers to inform and advance both current systems and future quantum architectures.

Quantum Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
