Most of the current pharmaceuticals only offer a one size fits all approach and often come with unwanted and potentially dangerous side effects. We found that through compounding we can offer a much more personalized solution to medicine.

Through this we have been able to help patients get the results they are seeking for their personal needs. After years of working for corporate chains we took the risk and opened Strive Pharmacy. Position Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Location:  San Antonio, TX

Hourly Pay:  $20 - $22 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing medications, managing prescription orders, and ensuring all processes are completed efficiently and correctly. This role includes handling tasks related to typing, shipping, and order coordination while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Fulfillment: Prepare and dispense medications based on prescriptions from licensed healthcare providers
• Order Management: Fill orders in our sterile and non-sterile fill zones, assist with the assembly of prescription orders, and manage customer pick-ups at the front end.
• Typing and Shipping: Accurately type and process prescription orders, and handle shipping and packaging tasks to ensure timely and secure delivery of medications.
• Coordination: Coordinate orders with lab teams for filling and handle any issues or special requirements related to prescription fulfillment.
• Production Support: Fill in production zones as needed, providing support in various areas of the pharmacy to maintain workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas State Pharmacy Technician license or willing to complete the Texas Trainee License as a first step toward a career in Pharmacy
• High School Diploma or GED
• A clean criminal record with no felonies

Desired Skills

• Previous experience in a Pharmacy setting
• Completion of a recognized PTCB course (not required)
• Proficient computer skills
• Background in customer service 
• Background in data entry
• Strong attention to detail

Work Environment

• Regularly stand to communicate and engage with patients and colleagues.
• Frequently use your hands for handling documentation, accessing information, and ensuring smooth operations.
• Occasionally stand and walk within the facility.
• Capable of lifting and moving items, even up to 50 pounds.
• Work predominantly indoors in a collaborative setting with peers and pharmacists.
