This Vision Externship is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited vision schooling program. Successful candidates will gain experience in various pediatric vision procedures and should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to patient service. While a knowledge of dentistry is mentioned, the core focus is on vision care, with potential for full-time hire as an optometric assistant upon completion.

Job Description
Hero Practice Services is seeking Vision Externs to experience various facets of vision procedures completed in a pediatric office. Upon successful completion of externship hours, externs may be hired as a full-time optometric assistant!
This position reports to the Operations Manager and is only open to students in an accredited dental assisting program.
This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.
