Job Description
UnitedMasters is building a marketplace that connects artists, brands and fans - empowering artists to earn and grow. The UnitedMasters team is made up of musicians, marketers, engineers, and storytellers with backgrounds from YouTube, SoundCloud, Pandora, Facebook, Uber, Dropbox, Complex, VICE, and more. We work hand in hand with the award-winning creative teams that forge those innovative partnerships at Translation (our in-house creative advertising agency).
You are a law student with strong problem-solving skills and careful attention to detail. You’re excited by the intersection of law, music, media, and business, and you want direct exposure to how in-house legal teams structure, negotiate, and operationalize real-world deals. If you’re looking for substantive experience reviewing agreements, supporting live transactions, and collaborating across business functions, this role is for you.
As a Legal Intern, you will sit within the Legal team and support cross-functional workflows across the enterprise. You will work closely with business stakeholders and gain exposure to live deals and operational legal processes.

UnitedMasters is a new music industry alternative that provides independent artists with premium music distribution services, a suite of tools to help them directly connect with fans, and opportunities for unique partnerships with some of the world’s biggest brands including the NBA, Bose, and iHeart.
