The main focus is teaching swimming skills according to the established curriculum in a fun and positive manner. This includes providing continuous, positive corrective feedback and structuring class time effectively to reinforce skills.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals passionate about swimming and working with children to join our team as Swim Instructors. Prior swim instruction experience and WSI certification are preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are also preferred and will be required within 60 days of hire.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?
- The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
- Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
- Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
- Ensure swimmer safety
- Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
- WSI certification preferred
- Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
- Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
