Position Profile:

Works in a food-contact zone and will be fully compliant with GMPs for food contact areas.  Is responsible for ensuring the correct product is used during the production runs following all quality and food safety standards. Ensures product containers are clear and free from contamination.

Job Duties and Accountabilities:

• Production Duties.  Monitors and troubleshoots equipment and processes in job area for possible issues with production. Completes tasks to set up, produce, package, and inspect products.

• Safety.   Complies with safe work practices at all times. Reports unsafe conditions or situation to supervisor or management.
• Food Safety.  Complies with and executes Good Manufacturing Practices. Recognizes non-compliance and takes action to correct or report observed violations of GMPs. Ensures product quality while adhering to FDA food manufacturing requirements. Ensures we are following all required controls for product quality and traceability. Follows sanitary policies and procedures before, during and after production runs. May encounter allergen products (dairy, soy, tree nuts, sesame seeds).
• Teamwork and Collaboration.   Actively engages in production and team meetings, and provides timely feedback to team regarding work topics.  Understands organizational hierarchy. Promotes teamwork with all colleagues. Understands available resources, and utilizes those resources when appropriate. Acts with integrity. Incumbent Profile:

Physical Requirements

• Work while standing for long durations of time in a food contact production area
• Climb stairs and ladders, use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Verbal and auditory acuity are required
• Production positions range from lifting 10 to 25lbs for long periods of time throughout the day to lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis (more the 50% of the working day)

Education and Experience Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Demonstrated ability to effectively operate all stations on assigned production line
• Prior manufacturing experience a plus

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required

• Effective communication skills

• Read and write in order to comprehend work instructions and complete necessary documentation 
• Perform basic math with aid of a calculator

• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Must be performance and quality driven.
