Position Summary:

At Pareto, we specialize in delivering innovative risk management and underwriting solutions to drive sustainable success for our clients. Our Underwriting team focuses on risk assessment, plan design, and leveraging analytics to make data-driven decisions that empower our business and clients. As an Underwriting Intern you will gain hands-on experience in underwriting, and data analytics. 

You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to impactful projects supporting Underwriting activities at Pareto, build expertise in plan design and team enablement in a collaborative environment. Overall, you will develop technical and project management skills that can set you apart in your career.

Position Responsibilities:

• Contribute to building the team’s operational strength. 
• Gaining valuable hands-on experience.  
• Assist in developing and maintaining tools, resources, and workflows to enhance underwriting efficiency.  
• Help develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.  
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at strengthening the Underwriting team capabilities and capacity. 

About you:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work in our Philadelphia, PA office beginning in June through August.
• Must be a Junior, or Senior attending an accredited College or University.
