Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Fashion Design Intern to join our design team. This internship is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainable fashion and eager to gain hands-on experience in the design process, from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong interest in fashion design, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

This is a paid internship, with compensation ranging from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the design team in creating mood boards, color palettes, and fabric sourcing.
• Help in sketching designs, preparing tech packs, and creating pattern samples.
• Collaborate with the team on product development and refining design concepts.
• Support in organizing and maintaining design samples and archives.
• Participate in fittings and provide feedback on garment fit and construction.
• Conduct research on design trends, fabric innovations, and sustainability.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks and studio operations as needed.

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a fashion design program.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills.
• A passion for sustainability and eco-conscious fashion.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of fabric types and garment construction is a plus.
