Job Description
The Index Research & Development Intern will be responsible for developing new indexes that will be benchmarks for financial products such as exchange traded funds (ETFs).
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with the Americas Index Research & Development team to build index strategies that will serve as benchmarks for financial products (e.g. ETFs).
Develop index rebalance and reconstitution models based on both internally and externally generated ideas
Evaluate index models & ideas through back testing and comparative analysis
Create client-facing analysis based on the results of back testing index strategies
Support activities across the index product life cycle – pitching new index ideas to clients, launching and operationalizing new indexes, and creating research content to educate stakeholders on newly launched indexes.
